Naudin<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 6px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black; font-size: 11px; font-weight: normal;\">This device, the\u00a0<em>Lifter<\/em>,\u00a0is about two feet across, is constructed of balsa wood, aluminum foil, and thin copper wire, weighs just\u00a0a few grams, and is doing exactly what it appears to be doing: floating in mid-air with absolutely no external supports. It uses the <a href=\"&lt;BlogInfo:URL \/&gt;\/files\/52795-47286\/Biefeld_Brown_Effect.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Biefeld-Brown Effect<\/a> discovered by Thomas Townsend Brown in 1928.\u00a0The basic design of the\u00a0<em>Lifter\u00a0<\/em>is fully described in the Townsend Brown US Patent 2949550 filed on Aug 16, 1960 titled\u00a0<em><a href=\"&lt;BlogInfo:URL \/&gt;\/files\/52795-47286\/2949550_ELECTROKINETIC_APPARATUS.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Elektrokinetic Apparatus<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 6px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black; font-size: 11px; font-weight: normal;\" align=\"left\">It turns out that one of these devices can be built weighing about\u00a0250 grams, with a payload capacity of about 60 grams. At this stage, the energy is externally applied trough thin copper wires attached at two points of the device, but there is no apparent theoretical reason why the power could not be generated onboard or stored onboard, making the device completely autonomous. An experimenter can easily get one of these at an electronic store, even from an old TV or PC. You can get specific directions at this\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/jnaudin.free.fr\/lifters\/main.htm\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>. Naudin&#8217;s experimental setup was simplicity itself:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/argee.net\/General Photos\/Tesla\/lifter 6.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"border: 0px solid; width: 500px; height: 441px; vertical-align: middle;\" src=\"http:\/\/argee.net\/General Photos\/Tesla\/lifter 6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"529\" \/><\/a> J.L. Naudin&#8217;s experimental set-up<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 6px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black; font-size: 11px; font-weight: normal;\">The generator with a couple of inexpensive enhancements is attached to the\u00a0<em>Lifter<\/em>\u00a0by two thin copper wires. When you close the switch, the\u00a0<em>Lifter<\/em>\u00a0jumps into the air. In his experiments, Naudin restrained the\u00a0<em>Lifter<\/em>\u00a0with four thin nylon threads, since otherwise it would lift\u00a0 up and crash into the ceiling (or rip off the thin copper wires, if they aren&#8217;t long enough).<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 6px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: black; font-size: 11px; font-weight: normal;\" align=\"left\">Naudin has also constructed a maneuverable\u00a0<em>Lifter Craft\u00a0<\/em>using this technique, where he has set up differing voltages for the\u00a0front, left, and right sides of the craft.\u00a0Appropriately applying voltage this way causes the craft to dip\u00a0forward, left, or right, and slid down the &#8220;slope.&#8221; The effect seems to be completely controllable, so that, in principle, by scaling up you could construct a maneuverable craft with sufficient payload for power supply, controls, and pilot, etc.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><a href=\"http:\/\/argee.net\/General Photos\/Tesla\/lifter 7.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" style=\"border: 0px solid; width: 500px; height: 443px; vertical-align: middle;\" src=\"http:\/\/argee.net\/General Photos\/Tesla\/lifter 7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" \/><\/a><\/em><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">J.L.
